Zones 5-8 Sun to partial shade
This very different plant has pendulous, thin, golden,
whip-like leaves and branches. The plant itself grows
into a haystack-like mound. Has a soft look and feel
about it that is missing from many other conifers. A
delightful plant, and one of our favorites for many years.
Considered a dwarf (in comparison to it’s larger
growing relatives) but will make 3-4’ of growth in ten
years and can grow 10 foot or more given enough time and
space.
